Hi All, James CT here, club secretary and wearer of many many hats!!.
You probably know that the Rover 800 series was developed with quite a considerable amount of help from Japanese car manufacturer, Honda. Project XX became the 800 series and Project HX became the Honda Legend, also known as the Acura Legend, and the first of a pair of cars to make up Hondas Acura brand, in the US (the other being an Integra coupe).
In the members section, a new page has been added, which contains some information about the Legend, including a brochure, from 1987.
It is interesting to compare the two. The 800 was by far the more superior car, when it came to interior appointments, but, the Honda had the edge when it came to overall build quality. It's also fascinating to see the shared aspects of each car, for example, the Legends seats look like they have come straight out of an 800, albeit with different trim colour options!.
Hope you enjoy the update, and as always, thanks for reading.
